Don't Look At Them, Sophia!

 

Sophia's villain arc in the nutshell.

Actually, I came up with this meme way back when I finished playing patch 1.9, but after jotting it down I completely forgot about it. It wasn't until patch 2.2 when Sophia reappeared that I suddenly remembered it (even though it's just a small bit). When I had some time, I quickly drew it before I forgot again.

The English font I'm currently using is a new one I just finished creating. I initially named the font 'DevilrayPrototype02,' but littleseal said it's too lame so I changed the name to 'DevilrayPrime.' I remade the font because I felt the first one wasn't suitable for action-oriented work, and I wanted a more versatile font. When I had the idea, I studied various Western comic book fonts and build it from scratch (for someone with terrible handwriting like me, this was much harder than drawing the comic itself = =").

From now on, I'll be using this font as the main one for English text. Please feel free to give me feedback on how easy or difficult it is to read.

ที่จริงมุกนี้คิดได้ตั้งแต่ตอนเล่นแพทช์ 1.9 จบแล้วแต่หลังจากจดไว้แล้วก็ลืมไปเลย จนกระทั่งแพทช์ 2.2 พอเห็น Sophia มีบทอีกครั้งถึงเพิ่งนึกออก (ถึงจะแค่นิดเดียวก็เถอะ) พอมีเวลาเลยรีบเอามาวาดก่อนลืมอีก

ฟอนต์อังกฤษที่ใช้ในตอนนี้คือฟอนต์ใหม่ที่ฉันเพิ่งทำเสร็จ ตอนแรกจะตั้งชื่อฟอนต์ว่า DevilrayPrototype02 แต่แมวน้ำน้อยบอกชื่อเฝ่ยมากเลยเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น DevilrayPrime ที่ทำใหม่เพราะรู้สึกว่าฟอนต์แรกที่ทำดูไม่เหมาะกับงานแนวแอคชั่นเลยอยากได้ฟอนต์ที่ใช้งานได้อเนกประสงค์กว่านี้ พอนึกได้เลยศึกษาฟอนต์บรรยายการ์ตูนฝรั่งหลายๆ แบบแล้วคัดลายมือใหม่ (สำหรับคนลายมือห่วยอย่างฉันนี่ถือว่ายากกว่าเขียนการ์ตูนหลายเท่า = =") 

ต่อไปคงใช้ฟอนต์นี้บรรยายภาษาอังกฤษเป็นตัวหลักแทน อ่านยากอ่านง่ายยังไงวิจารณ์มาได้เน่อ

The Haunted House

 

ที่จริงมีมุกจากแพทช์นี้ที่อยากเขียนเยอะเลย (ทั้งแบบซีเรียสและไม่ซีเรียส) แต่เพราะไม่ค่อยมีเวลาเลยเลือกเอามุกฮาๆ มาเขียนก่อนจะได้เริ่มต้นปีด้วยความสดใส (มั้งนะ ฮา...)

I imagine this trio (+An An Lee, if it's not for western style horror) will appointed themselves as commentators of all aspects of horror surrounding the suitcase when opportunity arise.

I have a lot of fanart ideas for this patch (both serious and funny). Since my time is limited, I chose a comedic one to kick off the new year with some laughs (I guess, lol).

Happy New Year 2025!

One of my goals before the new year is to learn how to create L2D (I've had all year but I only started seriously learning at the beginning of this month. How pathetic. -..-").

The material I'm using as a learning model is 'Reid', a character from my latest series. Luckily, when I was writing it I used to create character art with separated parts in case littleseal wanted to change poses and angles so I didn't have to start all over this time (imo, the most complicated step is file preparation. Even though I had the parts separated already, when I opened them in L2D I kept forgetting things and had to go back and fix them in Photoshop so many times).

This is a random animation file recorded from the program. After looking at it, there are many points that need to be fixed but it's been a good learning experience. But the most important thing is, I successfully completed basic L2D learning according to my goal before the end of the year. Now I have no more unfinished business with last year, YAY!

P.S. This file was finished before New Year's but was uploaded after New Year's because I wanted Medusa to be on top of the page longer. lol

P.S.2 Subtitles were added by littleseal. This was her first time adding subtitles to a video file also (We hope everything looks good lol).

วัตถุดิบที่เอามาเป็นโมเดลใช้เรียนคือ 'รี้ด' ดีที่ตอนเขียน Del Vento เคยทำภาพตัวละครแบบแยกชิ้นไว้บ้างเผื่อโดนแมวน้ำแก้ท่าโพสและมุมภาพเลยไม่ต้องทำใหม่หมด (ในความคิดฉัน ขั้นตอนที่ยุ่งยากที่สุดคือการเตรียมไฟล์นี่แหละ นี่ขนาดมีแยกไว้แล้วตอนเปิดใน L2D ยังมีลืมนั่นลืมนี่จนต้องวนกลับมาแก้ใน Photoshop หลายรอบ) 

นี่คือไฟล์อนิเมชั่นแบบสุ่มที่อัดจากตัวโปรแกรม ดูแล้วยังมีจุดที่ต้องแก้เยอะแต่ก็เป็นการเรียนรู้ที่ดี แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดคือฉันเรียน L2D ขั้นต้นสำเร็จตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ได้ทันก่อนสิ้นปี ตอนนี้ไม่มีอะไรติดค้างกับปีเก่าแล้ว เย้!

สุขสันต์วันปีใหม่ ขอให้วันนี้เป็นการเริ่มต้นที่ดีสำหรับทุกท่าน

ปล. ไฟล์นี้ทำเสร็จก่อนปีใหม่แต่อัพหลังปีใหม่เพราะอยากให้น้องเมดุซ่าอยู่บนหน้าเพจนานๆ ฮ่าๆ

ปล.2 แมวน้ำน้อยเป็นคนใส่ซับไตเติ้ล นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่ลองใส่ซับไตเติ้ลในไฟล์วีดีโอเหมือนกัน (หวังว่าคงไม่มีอะไรดูประหลาดนะ ฮ่าๆ)
