The writing is exceptional. It's clear why CN players praised this patch so much. The plot flows seamlessly from beginning to end without any dull moments. All four main characters are complex and well-developed, but Isolde and Hoffman stand out as favorites. The patch is set in Vienna, 1914, a time of cultural and artistic peak just before World War I. Isolde, a noble opera singer, is one of the main characters whose mental illness has a significant plot point. The screenwriters handled her character and illness deftly, avoiding both underplaying and overdramatizing the condition. This is a fanart of Isolde (I got her already).
