Burn

ตอนเล่นแพทช์ 1.7 จริงๆ ก็สงสัยอยู่ว่าทำไม Foundation ถึงให้ arcanist ที่อันตรายอย่าง Isolde มาอยู่ในทีมของตัวเอกแทนที่จะเอาไปรักษาในแผนกจิตเวทของ Laplace แต่พอคิดว่าหลังจากรับ Isolde เข้ามาในแพทช์ 1.9 ที่กำลังมาถึงตัวเอกก็รับ Kakania ที่เป็นจิตแพทย์ (ฝึกหัด) ของ Isolde เข้ามาอยู่ในทีมมาด้วยก็คงโอเค...ละมั้ง

After completing patch 1.7, I questioned why the Foundation placed a dangerous arcanist like Isolde on the protagonist's team instead of keeping her in Laplace's psyche ward. However, in patch 1.9, the protagonist will accept Kakania, Isolde's psychologist (in practice), into the team as well, so I guess that makes sense.

เข็มที่ระลึกผู้บริจาคโลหิตและเหรียญกาชาดสมนาคุณ

On the 4th and 13th of September 2024, my wife and I attended a ceremony to receive commemorative pins for blood donors and the Red Cross Medal of Merit. We were eligible for these awards due to our 36th and 50th blood donations respectively (the pin for 36 donations and the medal for 50). Actually, the Red Cross nominated us before the COVID-19 pandemic, but due to the pandemic, the award ceremony was postponed until now. As a result, there were a lot of people attending because the event had been delayed for several years.

The ceremonies on both days went smoothly. Compared to the other attendants, my wife and I seemed quite young as everyone else was dressed very formally. If they weren't wearing white uniforms (the formal attire for government officials), they were wearing suits or traditional Thai clothing. Aside from the pin and medal recipients, there were also family and friends attending to take photos and congratulate therecipients, creating a lively atmosphere.

The medal was more special than the pin because it's considered a royal decoration (the one we received was the 3rd class, made of blackened silver). The official from the Red Cross Fundraising Office who presented the medals told us that the 1st class medal, the highest class, is made of 80% pure gold. Everyone in the room was amazed. The funniest part was when the official told us a story about someone who had taken a 1st class medal to a pawn shop and a gold shop, but they refused to buy it. The person then called to complain that the 1st class medal wasn't real gold. The official had to send the medal to a lab for testing because the 1st class medals are ordered from the Department of Treasury, if they weren't real gold they would have a problem. However, the lab certificate confirmed that it was 80% pure gold, finally putting the matter to rest.

I'm sharing this story with everyone to encourage you to donate blood. Not only can your blood save someone's life, but you can also have a chance to receive a royal decoration. My wife and I can attest to that. ;D

P.S. In the picture, you can see the pin and the 3rd class medal. For women, the medal will have a bow as shown in the picture, while for men, it will be a ribbon hanging vertically with the medal.

วันที่ 4 กับ 13 กันยายน 2567 ที่ผ่านมาผู้เขียนและคนรักไปเข้าร่วมพิธีรับเข็มที่ระลึกผู้บริจาคโลหิตและเหรียญกาชาดสมนาคุณเนื่องในโอกาสที่พวกเราบริจาคเลือดครบ 36 ครั้งและ 50 ครั้ง (เข็มฯ สำหรับ 36 ครั้ง เหรียญฯ สำหรับ 50 ครั้ง) ที่จริงทางกาชาดเสนอชื่อพวกเราไปตั้งแต่ก่อนโควิดแล้ว แต่เพราะมีโควิดพิธีมอบเข็มฯ กับเหรียญฯ เลยถูกเลื่อนมาจัดช่วงนี้แทนทำให้จำนวนคนที่เข้ารับมีเพียบเลยเพราะดองมาหลายปี (ฮา...)

งานพิธีทั้ง 2 วันดำเนินไปด้วยความราบรื่น เมื่อเทียบกับผู้เข้ารับเข็มฯ กับเหรียญฯ ท่านอื่นๆ แล้วผู้เขียนกับคนรักดูเด็กไปเลยเพราะแต่ละท่านแต่งตัวแบบจัดเต็มมาก ถ้าไม่แต่งชุดปกติขาว (ชุดทางการของข้าราชการ) ก็ใส่สูทไม่ก็ชุดผ้าไทย ในงานนอกจากผู้ที่เข้ารับเข็มฯ กับเหรียญฯ แล้วยังมีญาติมิตรมาเข้าร่วมถ่ายรูปแสดงความยินดีด้วยทำให้บรรยากาศค่อนข้างครึกครื้น

เหรียญฯ มีความพิเศษกว่าเข็มฯ หน่อยตรงที่เหรียญฯ นี้ถือเป็นเครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์ (เหรียญที่พวกเรารับคือชั้น 3 เป็นเหรียญเงินรมดำ) เจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานจัดหารายได้สภากาชาดไทยที่เป็นผู้จัดพิธีมอบเหรียญฯ บอกว่าเหรียญฯ ชั้นที่ 1 ที่เป็นชั้นสูงสุดทำจากทองคำแท้ 80% ทำเอาทุกคนที่นั่งอยู่ฮือฮา แต่ที่ฮาจริงคือเจ้าหน้าที่เล่าให้ฟังว่ามีคนเคยเอาเหรียญฯ ชั้น 1 เข้าโรงรับจำนำกับร้านทองแล้วเขาไม่รับเลยโทรมาโวยวายว่าเหรียญฯ ชั้น 1 ไม่ใช่ทองแท้ เจ้าหน้าที่เลยตัดสินใจส่งเข้าแล็บตรวจซะเลยเพราะเหรียญฯ ชั้นที่ 1 ทางหน่วยงานสั่งกรมธนารักษ์ทำถ้าไม่แท้จะได้ไปโวยถูก แต่ใบเซอร์ฯ ที่ออกจากแล็บบอกว่าเป็นทองคำแท้ 80% เลยตัดข้อสงสัยไปได้ว่าเป็นทองแท้แน่นอน (และที่โรงรับจำนำกับร้องทองบอกเป็นเหรียญทองปลอมเพราะกะจะกดราคาเหรียญ)

ที่เล่าให้ทุกท่านฟัง (อ่าน) เพราะอยากเชิญชวนให้ไปบริจาคเลือดกัน นอกจากเลือดของเราจะช่วยต่อชีวิตให้กับผู้อื่นแล้วเรายังมีสิทธิได้เครื่องราชฯ ด้วยนะผู้เขียนกับคนรักพิสูจน์มาแล้ว (ป้ายยากันสุดๆ ฮา...) ;D

ปล. ในรูปคือเข็มฯ กับ เหรียญฯ ชั้นที่ 3 เหรียญฯ ของผู้หญิงจะเป็นโบว์แบบในรูปส่วนของผู้ชายจะเป็นริบบิ้นห้อยเหรียญแนวดิ่งลงมา

How to Fish a Rusalka

การ์ตูนแก๊ก R1999 แบบด่วนที่ทำขึ้นตอนคิดงานตัวเองไม่ออก ชิ้นนี้ทำแบบง่ายๆ ใช้เวลาแป็บเดียวเสร็จ คิดว่าต่อไปจะใช้วิธีนี้ในการทำการ์ตูนแก๊กเป็นหลักเพราะเร็วดีน่าจะทำให้เขียนทันความคิดได้เร็วขึ้น ปัญหาหลักของผู้เขียนตอนนี้คือแก๊กที่คิดไว้มีเยอะมากแต่ไม่มีเวลาเขียนออกมาให้เป็นชิ้นงานทันกับความคิด (แม้แต่งานตัวเอง พล็อตเรื่องที่คิดไว้มีเป็นร้อยบางไอเดียกว่าจะได้เขียนก็ผ่านไปเป็นสิบปี - -")

It'd be great if we could use Vila as a bait to fish Windsong too (unfortunately it doesn't work for me T_T).

I created this R1999 gag comic while stuck at work, using a simple method. I'll use this technique for future gag comics to save time. My main challenge is having many ideas but little time to turn them into finished pieces (This applies to my original works too - some ideas remain unused for up to 10 years - -").

Ley Energy

เล่น R1999 แพทช์ 1.8 จบมาสักพักแล้ว เนื้อเรื่องแพทช์นี้เกี่ยวกับเมืองสมมติชื่อ Rayashki (ต้นแบบมาจาก Piramiden เมืองเหมืองแร่ของโซเวียตใน Svalbard, Norway) ภาพลักษณ์ของ Rayashki ในเกมนี้คือเมืองคอมมิวนิสต์ในอุดมคติที่ทุกคนสามัคคีแบ่งหน้าที่และรับผิดชอบชะตากรรมของเมืองร่วมกันเพื่อต่อสู้กับภัยต่างๆ จากภายนอก เนื้อหาของแพทช์นี้ไม่ซับซ้อนและเส้นเรื่องค่อนข้างตรงเข้าใจง่ายแต่ข้อความที่ต้องการสื่อชัดเจนเข้าถึงผู้เล่นได้ดี

ตัวละครหลักทั้ง 3 ตัวของแพทช์นี้ออกแบบมาดูดี พอดีอยากลองเทคนิคใหม่ๆ เลยทำแฟนอาร์ตนี้ขึ้นมาทำให้รู้ว่าเทคนิคภาพสีที่ยุ่งยากเหมาะกับงานที่ต้องการความปราณีตมากกว่าการ์ตูนสี คราวต่อไปถ้าจะลองอะไรที่ยากๆ คงทำภาพสีเดี่ยวๆ ไปเลยดีกว่า

I recently finished the R1999 patch 1.8, which tells the story of Rayashki, an imagined town inspired by Piramiden, a Soviet mining town in Svalbard, Norway. Rayashki is depicted as an ideal communist city where people are united, responsible, and collectively fight against external threats. The story is straightforward but delivers a strong, resonant message.

All 3 protagonists are also well-designed. I created this fanart to test new techniques and discovered that complex procedures are more suitable for illustrations than colored comic strips. Next time, I’ll test complex techniques in an illustration.
